Theoretical study of the. gamma. /sup 4/He. --> pi. /sup 0/+/sup 4/ He reaction at energies 250--500 MeV

Within the framework of the distorted-wave impulse approximation we calculate differential cross sections for ..pi../sup 0/ meson elastic photoproduction in the /sup 4/He nucleus in the region of energies of photoexcitation of the ..delta.. isobar. The results are compared with the calculations of other authors.
