Experience at the Ralston Purina Co. and Holly Farms (world's largest poultry processor) in installing and operating the high efficiency E-plus electric motor from Gould, Inc. is related. These motors in the 1 to 25 hp range are certified for efficiency and power factor performance and, depending on the kWh cost of electricity and the hp rating, can save the instaler between $3 to $175 per year in electric bills.
