Method of phenomenological chiral Lagrangians and nonleptonic decays of strange and charmed baryons

We apply the method of phenomenological chiral Lagrangians for describing two-particle nonleptonic weak decays of strange and charmed baryons. We construct phenomenological chiral Lagrangians which strictly obey the selection rules of octet and 20-plet dominance. We calculate the amplitudes of the decays and compare the results with the experimental data.
