Effective Hamiltonian of rotational excitations for the symplectic model Sp (2,R)

In the framework of the symplectic model Sp(2,R) we have constructed the Hamiltonian of rotational excitations. As long as the angular momentum of the excited state is small in comparison with one of the two quantum numbers which determine the vacuum SU(3) irreducible representation of the symplectic model, the Hamiltonian obtained is similar to the Hamiltonian of a nonaxial (in the general case) rotator, but with additional terms proportional to the third and fourth powers of the operators for projection of the angular momentum of the nucleus onto its own axes.
