[ital B][sub [ital s]][r arrow][gamma][gamma] decay in the two-Higgs-doublet model

The rare [ital B][sub [ital s]][r arrow][gamma][gamma] decay has been investigated in the framework of the two-Higgs-doublet model. It is shown that the branching ratio has a great enhancement in comparison to the standard model (SM) prediction. We have found that the ratio of the square of the [ital CP]=1 to [ital CP]=[minus]1 amplitudes, [vert bar][ital A][sup +][vert bar][sup 2]/[vert bar][ital A][sup [minus]][vert bar][sup 2], which is always less than one in the SM, becomes greater than one for some values of [ital m][sub [ital H]]/[ital m][sub [ital t]]. We have also calculated the direct [ital CP]-violating parameter [epsilon][sub [gamma][gamma]([minus])][sup [prime]]. It is found that for [ital K][r arrow][gamma][gamma] decay its value is greater than the one which follows from the SM, while for [ital B][sub [ital s]][r arrow][gamma][gamma] decay both models have the same predictions. Finally, we compare our results on [ital B][sub [ital s]][r arrow][gamma][gamma] decay with the results of [ital B][sub [ital s]][r arrow][mu][sup +][mu][sup [minus]] and [ital B][sub [ital s]][r arrow][mu][sup +][mu][sup [minus]] decays which are of the same order of the coupling constant.
