Recent results obtained in the Mt. Blanc experiment on. beta beta. decay of /sup 76/Ge

Results are reported of a search for double beta decay of /sup 76/Ge. The experimental set-up has been running under Mt. Blanc (approx. 5000 m.w.e. depth) for 3000 hours. No evidence appears for either 0/sup +/ ..-->.. 0/sup +/ or 0/sup +/ ..-->.. 2/sup +/ neutrinoless transitions with half lifetime limits of 1.1 x 10/sup 22/ and 4.2 x 10/sup 21/ years, respectively, at 90% c.1.
