Infrared absorption spectroscopy and chemical kinetics of free radicals: Progress report

Results of the flash photolysis of (A) acetylene and trifluoropropyne, and (B) ammonia are discussed. Reaction mechanisms and vibrationally excited states of CO and CO/sub 2/, resulting from the photolysis of (A) above are addressed. Product branching ratios for NH/sub 2/ and NO between 300 K and 1200 K, resulting from (B) above are also addressed. 2 figs. (CBS)
