Universal device for interfacing a Kh6-4 correlator to an Elektronika D3-28 microcomputer

A device is described for controlling a Kh6-4 correlator based on an Elektronika D3-28 microcomputer and laser correlation spectrometer for dynamic light scattering. The device can be programmed directly in high-level languages. The I/O synchronization circuit enables one to extend the interfacing and contains components that improve the reliability. Correlation-function measurements are reported for radiation scattered by a particle system where the spectrometer is used in iterative mode.
