Offshore Denmark picks up steam

Denmark's offshore industry is currently bolstering reserves and increasing production, undertaking several offshore projects that could change the country's energy outlook significantly. The Dansk Undergrunds Consortium (DUC) has a huge gas project consisting of an interconnecting pipe system between production complexes that will allow natural gas production to be exported for the first time. The DUC project will also provide DUC with a way to route produced oil and condensate to shore via a new oil pipeline. Other of DUC's projects are described in this article.
