Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/6263712· OSTI ID:6263712
A review of Massachusetts' proposed conservation plan was completed. The impact of the Massachusetts plan, as a whole, will be - if successful - to reduce the State's 1980 energy consumption by 121.31 trillion (1012) BTU; of this 70.45 x 1012 BTU will be non-electrical and 50.86 x 1012 BTU will come from fuels used to generate electricity. This, measured against the FEA 1980 Baseline projection for Massachusetts of 1,683 trillion BTU, equals a 7.2% savings. No significant adverse environmental impacts were expected from implementation of the plan.
