Fluoride levels in air, vegetation and soil were monitored in the vicinity of a phosphorus plant. The g F/mT in air ranged from 0.82 to 20.78 at 0.7 km and 0.06 to 0.34 at 18.7 km from the source. F concentrations in vegetation in soil were significantly correlated to the air concentrations. Safe levels in air for forest species appear to be between 0.17 to 0.23 g F/mT.
