SU(3) predictions for charmed-baryon decays

The charmed baryons {Lambda}{sub {ital c}}{sup +}, {Xi}{sub {ital c}1}{sup +}, {Xi}{sub {ital c}1}{sup 0} and {Omega}{sub {ital c}}{sup 0} can only weakly decay to lower-mass baryons and mesons. We derive relations between the decay rates of these particles based on flavor SU(3). Two-body and three-body nonleptonic decays are explored along with semileptonic decays.
