Parity violation and flavor selection rules in charmed-baryon decays

The Cabibbo-allowed two-body nonleptonic decays of charmed baryons are studied. The kinematics of the vector-meson final state is worked out and flavor-SU(3) and nonet selection rules for all the amplitudes are given. A simple dynamical model is used to predict asymmetries and branching ratios for the decay modes {Lambda}{sub {ital c}}{sup +}{r arrow}{Lambda}{rho}{sup +} and {Lambda}{sub {ital c}}{sup +}{r arrow}{ital p{bar K}} {sup *0}.
