A magnetometer with sensitivity 0.01 ..mu..G was used to measure the dependence of the magnetic moments of single crystals of tin and indium on the magnetic field at H<15 Oe and on the temperature 3KT/sub c/, of superconductivity in a volume of radius approx.10/sup -5/ cm around the dislocation. From the measured values of the fluctuation diamagnetic moment, the following values were obtained for the superconductivity parameters of tin: xi/sub 0/= (3.4 +- 0.5) x 10/sup -5/ cm, chi=0.13 +- 0.01, and dH/sub c/2dTvertical-bar/sub T/c-italic =20.5 +- 1 Oe/K. The measured values of the fluctuation diamagnetic moment of indium agree with the results of Gollub et al. (Phys. Rev. B 7, 3039, 1973).
