Identification of /sup 145/Er and /sup 145/Ho

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. C; (United States)
On-line mass separation and K x-ray coincidences were used to identify the ..beta.. decays of /sup 145/Er and /sup 145/Ho. Only ..beta..-delayed proton emission was observed for /sup 145/Er (T/sub 1/2/ = 0.9 +- 0.3 s), and a total of 16 ..gamma..-ray transitions were assigned to the ..beta.. decay of /sup 145/Ho (T/sub 1/2/ = 2.4 +- 0.1 s). A /sup 145/Ho decay scheme was constructed which incorporates 13 ..gamma..-ray transitions and 10 excited levels in /sup 145/Dy and establishes the ..nu..h/sub 11/2/ isomeric level at E/sub x/ = 118.2 keV. The low-lying neutron-hole structure in /sup 145/Dy is compared to level systematics in even-Z nuclei with N = 77, 79, and 81.
