Laboratory analysis of physical and chemical properties has continued on representative samples of plant feed coal as well as washed coal and refuse from the Pittsburgh seam. Also, samples were procured from the fluidized-bed process (Pope, Evans, and Robbins) at Rivesville, West Virginia, including the feed limestone, the feed coal, the ''spent'' limestone bed material or bottom ash and flyash from the carbon burn-off cell.
