Laboratory analysis of physical and chemical properties has continued on representative samples of plant feed coal as well as washed coal and refuse from the Pittsburgh seam. Preliminary laboratory analysis has been obtained for samples which were procured from the fluidized bed process (Pope, Evans and Robbins) at Rivesville, West Virginia. Representative samples of the feed limestone, the feed coal, the spent limestone bed material or bottom ash and flyash from the carbon burn-off cell were examined.
