Twelve cross sections for (n,2n), (n,p), (n,np) and (n,n{alpha}) reactions producing short-lived nuclei with half-lives between 15.8 s and 10.3 min have been measured in the energy range between 13.4 and 14.9 MeV by the activation method. The 14 MeV neutrons were generated by using FNS (Fusion Neutronics Source) facility at JAERI. The {gamma}-rays emitted from the irradiated samples were measured with high-purity germanium (HPGe) detectors. The effective energy of incident neutrons were determined by the Nb/Zr method. All cross section of the {sup 27}Al(n,p){sup 27}Mg reaction which was determined by referring to the cross section of the {sup 27}Al(n,{alpha}){sup 24}Na reaction. The cross sections of {sup 96}Zr(n,np){sup 95}Y, {sup 120}Sn(n,np){sup 119g}In and {sup 180}Hf(n,p){sup 180}Lu reactions were measured for the first time. The present results were compared with previous data and the evaluated data of JENDL-3 and ENDF/B-VI. The comparison show that some discrepancies exist. Our systematics for (n,p) reactions agrees with the present data within 30%.
