Early EPRI studies and more recent ones co-sponsored by EPRI/DOE provide direct input into the methodology of nuclear plant life extension (NUPLEX). There is substantial additional information, funded by a variety of sources and other programs within EPRI, that affect NUPLEX. This document is intended to draw together much of this information in the form of Project Briefs (PB). NUPLEX Project Briefs is a document containing current technical information regarding nuclear plant life extension. The document presents preliminary guidelines, supporting technology, and technical evaluation methods. Each brief contains a condensation of specific NUPLEX information and provides personal contacts and references for interested readers.
