First offshore Alaskan Arctic pipelines nearing completion for Endicott field

The first offshore oil-production pipelines in the Alaskan Arctic are nearing completion less than 10 miles east of Prudhoe Bay. They are part of the $1.1 billion Endicott project for Standard Alaska Production Co., developer and operator of the new 350 million-bbl Endicott oil field. There are four pipelines: 16-in. sales oil, 28-in. produced fluids (crude oil), 14-in. gas lift, and 14-in. water injection. Pipeline routing and physical characteristics of the pipelines are shown in this article.
