Unknown hypernucleus emitted from the S-substitutional /sub //sub <1/ /sub. lambda. //sup 2/C excited state

                    The S/sup 2/ factors of /sup 3/He+/sub ..lambda..//sup 9/Be and ..cap alpha..+ /sub ..lambda..//sup 8/Be decays from the S-substitutional state of /sub //sub <1/ /sub ..lambda..//sup 2/C are evaluated by assuming SU/sub 3/ wave functions. The unknown hypernucleus, the lifetime of which was measured, is identified as /sub ..lambda..//sup 9/Be.
