Hot box helps set nuclear-insulation specs

A high-temperature hot box for testing of reflective insulation panels used in nuclear containment environments is described. The box can provide temperatures up to 343/sup 0/C (650/sup 0/F) and can simulate the hot equipment surface on one side and ambient air on the cold side.
