Superconductivity in (110)-PrBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] thin films pseudomorphically grown on (110)-YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] single crystal substrates

The vertical four-probe measurements for (110)-PrBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]]/YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] bilayers pseudomorphically grown on (110)-YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] (YBCO) single crystal substrates show clearly two superconducting transition steps associated with two different [Tc]'s of 92.0 K of YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] and 75.5 K for 220 nm thick PrBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]]. The simultaneous PrBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]]/YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] bilayers on (001)-YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7[minus][delta]] (YBCO) single crystal substrates show a non-superconducting nonlinear I-V curve.
