Estimates of [ital m][sub [ital d]][minus][ital m][sub [ital u]] and [l angle][ital [bar d]d][r angle][minus][l angle][ital [bar u]u][r angle] from QCD sum rules for [ital D] and [ital D][sup *] isospin mass differences

The recent experimental data on [ital D][sup +-][ital D0] and [ital D][sup *+-][ital D*0] mass differences are used as inputs in the QCD sum rules to obtain new estimates on the mass difference of light quarks and on the difference of their condensates: [ital m][sub [ital d]][minus][ital m][sub [ital u]]=3[plus minus]1 MeV, [l angle][ital [bar d]d][r angle][minus][l angle][ital [bar u]u][r angle]=[minus](2.5[plus minus]1)[times]10[sup [minus]3][l angle][ital [bar u]u][r angle] (at a standard normalization point, [mu]=0.5 GeV).
