Relation between the inclusive. pi. /sup 0/ meson and photon production processes in colliding e/sup +/e/sup -/ beams

The structure functions of the one-photon mechanism of ..gamma.. production, e/sup +/e/sup -/..--> gamma..+X( where X stands for the ensemble of all undetected particles), are expressed in the form of one-dimensional integrals of the structure functions of the processes e/sup +/+e/sup -/..--> pi../sup 0/+X' (X = X'+..gamma..), taking into account that the photons are produced in the decay of ..pi../sup 0/ mesons created in the process e/sup +/+e/sup -/..--> pi../sup 0/+X'. If the ..pi../sup 0/ meson is created together with a vector meson, e/sup +/+e/sup -/..--> pi../sup 0/+V, the energy distribution of the photons can be found directly (without integration). In a CP-invariant theory P-odd effects in the processes e/sup +/+e/sup -/..--> gamma..+X and e/sup +/+e/sup -/..--> pi../sup 0/+X' should be absent in the one-photon approximation even if one takes into account the contribution of mechanisms which are due to the decay of heavy leptons or charmed particles produced in the colliding-beam processes.
