Double beta decay in /sup 82/Se

A Time Projection Chamber (TPC) has been constructed to search for double beta decay in /sup 82/Se. The lifetime for the 2..nu..2..beta.. is tau/sub 1/2/ = 1.4(/sup +6//sub -//sub 3/) 10/sup 20/ years (68%C.L.). Limits for o..nu..2..beta.. decay with and without majoron emission are also given.
