Regional cooperation in nuclear energy development: Pacific Basin Nuclear Cooperation Committee

The technical contents of the Pacific Basin Nuclear Cooperation Committee (PBNCC) working groups are discussed. These working groups are set up for the following areas of interest: pooled spare parts and inventory management, nuclear training, nuclear safety, codes and standards, public acceptance, and radwaste management. Canada, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, and the United States are currently participating in the PBNCC.
