Tribotechnical properties of self-lubricating polymer materials containing molybdenum dichalcogenides

Composite self-lubricating materials based on thermally reactive epoxy and phenol-formaldehyde resins containing molybdenum dichalcogenides were studied for their tribotechnical properties and for the composition of the polymer matrix. The relationships derived from these studies made it possible to optimize the antifriction parameters of the composite self-lubricating materials, obtain materials with the specified properties, and obtain the lowest stable coefficient of friction and the minimum intensity of wear in air, water and vacuum.
