Written for the HP 67/97 Calculator, a program is in use which makes hyperbolic decline curve analysis and reserve forecasting simpler. Based on an initial rate and 2 rate-time points, the program iterates to calculate the hyperbolic exponent N and initial decline rate Ai. The program will forecast to a final rate or years life to calculate reserves. An annual forecast is provided which has the option of varying initial and future time step sizes. Nomenclature is the same as for Part 1 of this series.
