A program for hyperbolic-decline analysis written for the HP-41C calculator can compute the hyperbolic exponent n and the initial decline rate A/sub i/ if either three rate-time points or two rate-time points and the incremental production are specified. The program can then forecast to a future rate or time, generate a rate-time forecast, or calculate the decline slope at any future rate. This program uses the same five subroutines as the exponential- and harmonic-decline program.
