Pool-type LMFBR plant 1000 MWe Phase A-Extension-2 design. Part V: heat transport systems. Final report
The heat transport systems carry heat from the reactor to the IHXs and from the IHXs to the steam generators. The major components in the primary heat transport system are the primary sodium pumps and IHXs, and the major components in the intermediate heat transport system are the intermediate sodium pumps and steam generators. The history and evolution of the pool reactor heat transport systems and components during previous study phases are summarized. In addition, highlights of the current study are summaried.
