This issue reproduces the entire text of a white paper report for the US Congress, prepared by Lawrence C. Kumins, Specialist, Environment and Natural Resources Policy Division, Congressional Research Service. Thus, thousands of heavyweight observers that are absorbing this interpretation will include Energy Detente subscribers around the world. This responds to numerous requests for information on the recent gasoline price rise, it causes, and to what extent it might be attributed to the effects of the Alaska oil spill.
