Covariant oscillator quark model: Present status and recent attempts

Conference · · AIP Conf. Proc.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6117703
The frameworks and the essential features of the (thus far called) relativistic harmonic oscillator quark model are shortly reviewed. It is also reported on our recent attempts, extending the model so as to include the effects of unequal constituent-quark masses and the effects due to gluon exchange, and on the main results of their systematic applications to the various problems of the light quark hadrons; the mass spectrum, the magnetic moments, the radiative decays and the electro-magnetic form factors of the mesons and baryons. The results seem to be very encouraging.
