Cabibbo-enhanced weak decays of charmed baryons in the SU(4) semidynamical scheme

Treating the weak decay {ital B}{r arrow}{ital B}{prime}+{ital P} as the process {ital S}+{ital B}{r arrow}{ital P}+{ital B}{prime}, expressing the decay amplitudes in terms of the reduced matrix elements in all the {ital s}, {ital t}, and {ital u} channels, and restricting the intermediate states to be nonexotic, we study the weak decays of charmed baryons. Using the experimental data of strange baryons, we calculate the decay rates in the Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani (GIM) model. We find that the addition of a 1{bold 5} representation to the weak GIM Hamiltonian gives good agreement with experiment.
