High Tc superconducting thin films

The fabrication of high Tc films is described using YBaCuO as an example. Reference is made to similar work in the TlBaCaCuO and BiSrCaCuO compounds. Measurements being made on these thin films are described in order to understand their properties. Initial applications of these films include SQUIDs, transmission lines, and tunnel junctions studies. 39 references.
