Stimulation vessel slated for N. Sea work

The largest and most technically advanced well stimulation vessel seen in the North Sea will be introduced in spring 1992. This paper reports on the western renaissance, a $43-million, 308-ft offshore stimulation vessel. The ship will have fully integrated communication between programmable logic controllers and multi-processing microcomputers to allow for high-speed data processing.
