Excitation function of the quasifree contribution in the /sup 2/H(/sup 7/Li,. cap alpha cap alpha. )/ital n/ reaction at /ital E//sub 0/=28--48 MeV

The /sup 2/H(/sup 7/Li, ..cap alpha cap alpha..)/ital n/ reaction wasstudied in a kinematically complete experiment at energies between 28 and 48MeV. Coincidence spectra show the contribution from the quasifree/ital p/+/sup 7/Li/r arrow/..cap alpha..+..cap alpha.. reaction. The excitation function ofthe quasifree reaction cross section at small neutron momenta was extracted andcompared with the behavior of the free reaction cross section.
