Doppler-limited tunable-diode laser spectra of the stretching fundamental nu/sub 3/ of /sup 28/SiF/sub 4/ near 1031 cm/sup -1/ were analyzed and the spectroscopic constants determined. The nu/sub 3/ vibrational dipole moment derivative was determined for several rovibrational lines. 3 tables.
