Zero-sound measurements in superfluid /sup 3/He

Pulsed transmission and acoustic impedance techniques have been used to perform zero-sound measurements in superfluid /sup 3/He. In the A-phase, a new collective mode of the order parameter has been observed and is identified as the super-flapping mode.
