Epidemiological studies on radiation carcinogenesis in human populations following acute exposure: nuclear explosions and medical radiation
Conference
·
OSTI ID:6055384
The current knowledge of the carcinogenic effect of radiation in man is considered. The discussion is restricted to dose-incidence data in humans, particularly to certain of those epidemiological studies of human populations that are used most frequently for risk estimation for low-dose radiation carcinogenesis in man. Emphasis is placed solely on those surveys concerned with nuclear explosions and medical exposures. (ACR)
