Pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperatures in La/sub 1. 85/Sr/sub 0. 15/CuO/sub 4/ to 8 GPa

Pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature in La/sub 1.85/Sr/sub 0.15/CuO/sub 4/ has been measured to 8 GPa using a diamond anvil cell. The experimental results are discussed within the conventional electron--phonon model of superconductivity.
