The possibility of a quark (diquark)-hadron transition inside a nucleus is considered. Simple expressions are obtained which permit us to estimate the mean time for the hadronization of quarks (diquarks) and the cross sections for their interaction with nucleons by means of comparison with the experimental data on the inclusive spectra of fast hadrons created nondiffractively in the interaction of high-energy leptons and hadrons with nuclei. It is shown that the existing experimental data are not sufficient for an independent determination of these parameters. We suggest that deep inelastic leptoproduction processes are most informative for obtaining these parameters and we estimate the necessary experimental accuracy for the specific example of the leptoproduction of pions and kaons.
