Systematics of neutron cross sections and other characteristics of the fission of transuranium nuclei

Over a broad region of the stability valley of transuranium nuclei (92< or =Z< or =100) we have given values of the fission-barrier heights E/sup A/,B/sub f/ , the ratio of the average neutron and fission widths GAMMA/sub n//GAMMA/sub f/ , and the cross sections for neutron fission sigma/sub f/ in the plateau region (E/sub n/ = 2--4MeV). The calculations were carried out on the basis of a systematics developed in the framework of the two-humped barrier model of fission and a statistical description of the average decay widths of the compound nucleus. The deviation of the theoretical values from experimental on the average corresponds to the value of the experimental errors.
