The topics covered in this second volume include the bioprocessing of coal (desulfurization, liquefaction, or gasification), surface chemistry of coal (oxidation, weathering, surface properties, adsorption isotherms), coal combustion, and soot formation. A few papers were also included on structure, chemical analysis, pyrolysis, and CO hydrogenation. All papers have been indexed separately.
