The topics covered in this first volume included the coprocessing of coal with petroleum residues or bitumens; the sulfur chemistry and especially the desulfurization of coal; separation processes required for clean-up of coal conversion products; the catalytic upgrading of coal liquids; and the structure of coal. All papers have been indexed separately.
