The projective scalar-tensor gravitational field and the conformal transformation of the metric

Starting from general projective relativity, we derive the equations of the scalar-tensor gravitational field, similar to the Brans-Dicke equations. We demonstrate that the equations with /ital n//ne/0 can be obtained from the equations with /ital n/=0 by a conformal transformation of the metric. Finally, for /ital n/=/minus/1, we obtain a theory similar to Canuto's scalar-tensor theory.
