Investigation of the inclusive production of nonstrange vector mesons on Be and Cu nuclei by 43-GeV/c K/sup -/ mesons

The inclusive cross sections for rho/sup +/..omega../sup -/ and phi-meson production on Be and phi-meson production on Cu by 43-GeV/c K/sup -/ mesons are measured in the beam-fragmentation region (x>0.4). The invariant differential cross sections dsigma/dp and dsigma/dy* for the reaction K/sup -/+Be..-->..phi+X are found. The experimental results are compared to the predictions of the quark-parton model.
