The effect of aluminum nitrate on the determination of cadmium, nickel and lead by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry

The interference of various concentrations of aluminum nitrate on the atomic absorption signals for cadmium, nickel and lead has been evaluated for the graphite furnace atomizer. The extent and direction of the interference of increasing aluminum concentrations were found to be rather different for Cd, Ni and Pb.
