Conformational investigations by NMR with lanthanide shift reagents

This paper examines the information on the conformational analysis of organic molecules obtained with the aid of NMR spectroscopy with the use of LIS reagents. The purpose is to consider the most typical cases from a methodological point of view. Some aspects of the use of LIS reagents in conformational investigations are examined. The interactions between an LIS reagent and an organic compound are discussed. Changes in the conformation or conformational equilibrium as a result of the interaction of an LIS reagent with an organic compound are reviewed.
