The nonlocal quark model is used to calculate the characteristics of the electromagnetic and weak semileptonic decays of the pseudoscalar mesons: the electromagnetic radii of pions and kaons, the form factors of K/sub l/3 decay, and the structure constants of the decay ..pi../sup -/..-->..e..nu gamma... A four-quark interaction satisfying the Vertical Bar..delta..TVertical Bar = 1/2 rule is introduced, and the nonleptonic decays K..-->..2..pi.., 3..pi.. are considered. The results are found to be in agreement with experiment. A study is made of the dependence of the model results on the intrinsic parameters.
